JOBST JoViPad Multipurpose is designed to increase pressure locally and provide comfort through cushioning for patients with lymphedema, edema, and/or fibrosis.

The blended foam mix and stitched channels of the JOBST JoViPad create multiple pressure points when used under compression garments and are designed to stimulate lymph flow and soften fibrotic tissue.

JOBST JoViPad Multipurpose is available in the following variations:

  • Kidney Pad- Under compression, this JOBST JoViPad is indicated for patients who need increased localized pressure in areas, such as the lateral chest at the axilla, on the distal anterior of the knee, the inner thigh at the groin etc.
  • Malleolus Pad- Under compression, this JOBST JoViPad is indicated for patients who need to address the area around the malleolus.
  • Rectangle Pad- This highly versatile JOBST JoViPad is indicated for patients with edema in areas, which need increased localized pressure, such as the lateral chest wall, or padding of boney prominences, such as the anterior tibialis, lateral aspect of the forearm, etc.
  • Oval Pad- This JOBST JoViPad is indicated for patients in need of cushioning in the delicate popliteal fossa or anterior ankle. It is also indicated for patient in need of localized pressure on the dorsum of foot or other small areas with fibrosis under compression.
  • Round Pad- This JOBST JoViPad is indicated for patients in need of cushioning under bandaging in the antecubital fossa area or small areas with fibrosis.
  • Dorsum Pad- Used under bandaging, this JOBST JoViPad is indicated for patients with hand swelling.

  • Palm Pad- Used under bandaging, this JOBST JoViPad is indicated for patients with hand swelling.

How to use the product

To use JOBST JoViPad Multipurpose:

  1. Before using JOBST JoViPad, cover any open wounds with an appropriate wound dressing.
  2. Position the JOBST JoViPad on the affected area and apply the compression garment or compression bandage carefully to avoid wrong positioning of the pad.Avoid too high pressure built-up.
  3. Check correct positioning regularly.

Other recommendations: Consult your healthcare professional for the correct selection, application, and use of specialty pads.

How to care for the product

JOBST JoViPad Multipurpose should be hand washed once a week or when soiled. For this purpose, you may use a regular mild detergent. Do not use laundry additives such as fabric softener, optical brightener, or stain remover. Rinse well. Do not wring or twist. Do not dry the compression garment on a radiator or in direct sunlight. For tumble dryer compatibility, please check the product label of your compression garment. Tumble dry at the lowest heat possible.
