The JOBST FarrowWrap CLASSIC for the lower extremities for the whole leg are adjustable compression garments designed to maintain edema reduction, prevent new swelling, manage lymphedema, and promote the healing of leg ulcers caused by chronic venous disease. It comes with an adjustable VELCRO brand hook & loop system that allows patients to respond better to fluctuating edema levels by simply tightening and loosening the wrap throughout the day.

JOBST FarrowWrap CLASSIC for the lower extremities includes compression garments for the legs and feet. The garments feature an easy-to-don wrap-around design, ideal for managing chronic venous diseases and lymphedema.

The adjustable compression garments provide the advantages of multi-layer bandaging, which consists of a VELCRO brand hook & loop engineered for easy application.

You can easily adjust the wrap using the VELCRO brand bands to accommodate changes in edema levels during the day by tightening or loosening as required throughout the day. The overlapping design provides essential support for managing edema and helps reduce the risk of swelling forming between the bands.

VELCRO® Hook & Loop Brand Bands

Allows you to easily tighten or loosen the wrap as required to accommodate changes in the size and shape of your lower limb as soon as the swelling reduces.

What are the different compression classes?

Compression garments come in different compression classes, ranges, or levels. This description differs between regions or countries. In Germany, for example, the so-called RAL-GZG standard is dividing compression garments into four different compression classes from mild to very strong compression or class I-IV. The exact pressure of each compression garment is usually specified in millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and varies according to medical necessity.

It is not always useful to assign a specific compression class to a certain condition, therefore Healthcare Professionals will make individual decisions on the suitability of a certain compression level for each patient. This is usually based on the clinical condition itself, the patient’s tolerability for compression, additional conditions, and further individual needs.

How to care for the product

JOBST FarrowWrap CLASSIC Lower Extremities compression garment can be hand washed only with mild detergent. Do not use laundry additives such as fabric softener, optical brightener or stain remover.  Do not tumble dry. Do not wring or twist. Flat dry only. Do not dry the compression garment on a radiator or in direct sunlight. Do not use bleach, dry clean or iron.

Extra tip: Fold the VELCRO brand hook & loop fastener back on itself when removing the product or before washing. This will make it easier to reapply the product next time and avoid damaging the garment. Follow the provided care instructions to ensure a longer life span for your wrap.
